SOUTHWEST EXCELLENCE AWARD

Bishops, Apostles, Pastors, Evangelists and Prophets International Network usually referred to as BAPEP Int’l Network is a Christian forum to help foster deeper relationship among like minded church leaders regardless of the denominational differences. According to  Jesus Christ’s prayer for his disciples – “That they all may be one: – John 17:21.  It is the intent of the founder of the global church for all churches to be united in love and faith towards strengthening God’s kingdom and depopulating the kingdom of darkness.

BAPEP Int’l Network among other things organize conferences, seminars and awards towards strengthening our relationship with Holy Spirit and encouraging Christians and Christian entrepreneurs, leaders, coaches, etc to want to do more.

The current award is dedicated to industrious Nigerian Christian leaders most especially those who live or have their ministry or organization cited in the Southwest Zone. These are classes of Christian leaders and professionals who have excelled in their chosen career and had contributed greatly to the local assembly via expansion of the Gospel of Jesus and rendering pro bonus services to the community through philanthropic gesture and uncommon kindness.

The Award Committee is very selective in order to make sure that the right Christian leaders and professionals emerge as the award recipients without any prejudice or favourism. In selection of our award recipients, we don’t look at popularity or prosperity of the potential awardees. We solely rely on the guidance of Holy Spirit and counsel of the Southwest 2023 Nomination Committee headed by Professor Olumuyiwa Samuel.

All potential awardee recipients are required to fill the acceptance form via https://bapep.org/award-application-form/ Filling out this acceptance form would help the Award Committee extract necessary information to formulate their decisions. Successful award recipients would be contacted through the valid email address on the form.

BAPEP awards are intended to recognize exemplary achievements and contributions to the course of Christianity and expansion of the Gospel of Christ across African countries through generous giving, selfless service, unequal  leadership exhibition, or service to BAPEP and the field of Christian  education. The BAPEP membership plays an essential role in identifying persons who should be honored by the Network, so please give each award your thoughtful consideration. It is not necessary to present every award every year, but there are undoubtedly individuals deserving of recognition in each of the following categories:

Excellence Award: This special award will be presented to Christians leaders who have excelled in their various callings and professions. This award is meant to encourage those excelled individuals to do more and be aware that their impact is being felt in the society.

Distinguished Service Award: The Distinguished Service Award will be presented in recognition of engagement and extension of the mission and vision of the Network, enrichment of the experience of members, and, in general, exceptional commitment and significant contribution to the success of the Network for the course of Christianity and expansion of the Gospel of Christ.


Young Ministers Award: The Young Ministers Award will be presented in recognition of an emerging, significant, and potential for the future of the body of Christ.

The Leadership Award: The Leadership Award will be presented in recognition of bringing visibility and support to the course of raising Christian leaders in your ministry or profession with living proof that these new set of leaders are doing exploits for God.

The Mentoring Award: This award will be presented in recognition of extraordinary, tireless, and sustained contributions to the professional and scholarly development of emerging Christian scholars, theologians and seminarians as it affect the future of Christian Profession.

The Outstanding Book Award: This award recognizes a book that makes a significant contribution to the course of Christianity and Christian higher education. The award is open to any book published within the last year that advances theories, knowledge, practices and/or policies in the field of Christian higher education.

Presidential Medal Award: BAPEP Presidential Medal will recognize rich, vibrant, and substantive partnerships between Christian university/seminary entities or scholars and community organizations or groups.

The Research Achievement Award: This award is presented in recognition of the outstanding contribution of a body of research that advances understanding of Christian higher education in a significant way.

The Special Merit Award: This award is presented in recognition of a person, group, or organization in recognition of distinctive support for the purposes and goals of the Network.

The Humanitarian Award: This award is presented in recognition of a minister or Christian organization in recognition of distinctive support for the course of humanity through corporate social responsibility.

The Most Outstanding Couple Award: The Most Outstanding Couple Award will be presented in recognition of Christian couples who have worked together in ministry with living proofs.
